Kathrins Pregnancy Pages

Where did you come from, baby dear?

Here you will find personal information about pregnancy and birth. These pages were started while I was pregnant with my first child - Dina Kamilla. She was born on the 26th of September 1994. Since then I have also given birth to Herman André - born on the 17th of April 1997. On the 18th of July 2002

I hope that these pages can help pregnant women around the world. The information on these pages are personal - but do also include contributions from other mothers and fathers around the world.

At present I do unfortunately not have much time to update these pages, but I hope you can enjoy whatever you find here!

Yours sincerely
Kathrine Jĝlle Wathne

Where did you come from, baby dear?
Out of the everywhere and into here.

Where did you get those eyes so blue?
Out of the sky as I came through.

What makes the light in them sparkle and spin?
Some of the starry spikes got left in.

Where did you get that little tear?
I found it waiting when I got here.

What makes your forehead so smooth and high?
A soft hand stroked it as I went by.

What makes your cheek like a warm white rose?
I saw something better than anyone knows.

Whence the three-cornered smile of bliss?
The angels gave me at one a kiss.

Where did you get this pearly ear?
God spoke, and it came out to hear.

Where did you get those arms and hands?
Love made itself into hooks and bands.

Feet, whence you come, darling things?
From the same box as cherubs' wings.

How did they all just come to be you?
God thought about me and so I grew.

But how did you come to us, you dear?
God thought about you, and so I am here.
